Our Master Chocolatier's Story
Everyone talks about the combination of chilli and chocolate so I wanted to play on this, but with a different type of heat.

With the strong link between sushi and wasabi, I wanted to make people think about other ways of using and eating wasabi, and so experimented with the flavour by combining wasabi with chocolate. As the combination is also so unexpected, I thought it would be an interesting fusion for the very first Single Batch release. 

Wasabi as a flavour sits in the same family as mustard and horseradish seeds, and there is a common is a misconception that wasabi is very hot, however it is a spiciness hits the nose rather than the tongue like a chili does, so I wanted to make sure the true flavours of the wasabi were present in this creation. The natural wasabi peas have been coated with a rich 54% dark chocolate to balance the heat of the wasabi and to enhance the crunch of peas.

Best kept at around 22 degrees or less, away from direct sunlight and strong aromas.
