Giving Back

We believe in giving back to the place that made us, and celebrating the flavours of home.

Looking after our locals.

The world inspires us endlessly, but the essence of Koko Black belongs to the flavours, smells, sounds, textures and vistas of Australia. We’re proud of our home, and we want to give back to it – and not just in chocolate form.

That’s why we seek out Australian partners whose work celebrates, enhances or protects our own spectacular backyard.

Koko Critter Collection

8 to collect

At Koko Black we love gifts – especially the ones that give back. That’s why we’re donating $2 from every sale of our Critters Collection and Gift Box, and 25c from each Critters Mini Block and Pop, to organisations working to conserve native wildlife. Doing good has never been so delicious.

We believe in giving back to the place that made us, celebrating and protecting Australia’s unique environment and our native critters. With the Koko Critters Collection we are taking action, with funds from the sale of every pack going to support Australian Wildlife.

To date, Koko Black has donated

$232,521 towards the conservation of Australian Wildlife

Taronga Conservation Society Australia

For the wild

Since 2020, we’ve been proud supporters of Taronga Conservation Society Australia.

Focused on protecting the world’s wildlife for future generations: a cause that’s close to our heart. By partnering with Taronga, we’re helping support their vital local conservation work in the wake of the devastating 2019-20 bushfires. This includes providing medical care for injured and displaced animals of all sizes, big and small. Plus a longer term strategy to ensure the ongoing survival of Australia’s endangered wildlife.

We may have started small, but we are proud that Koko Black has commenced our journey to play our part for the planet
